At White Stone, we work towards offering a quality EFL (“English as a Foreign Language”) education. We design our classes around methods that expand each student’s language and vocabulary base and closely follow universally recognized level-specific standards. However, our concerns with English education are not limited to mere knowledge acquisition or improvement in linguistic fluency. Rather, we want the aim of our education to be for students to use English as a tool that can help them think critically and creatively. Our curriculums, with their emphasis on speaking and writing instruction, enable students to stretch the boundaries of their thoughts, transfer their ideas into words, and organize their points in ways that have impact. English at White Stone is taught as not an end in itself, but as a means through which students can learn to be confident, innovative thinkers.
